UFC on FOX 24 results from Kansas City

Tonight the UFC is in Kansas City for UFC on FOX 24.  Preliminary bouts begin at 4 pm on UFC Fight Pass before switching over to FOX at 6 p.m., followed by the main card also on FOX at 8 p.m.

In the main event UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson defended his title against challenger Wilson Reis.  With the submission win, Johnson tied Anderson Silva at 10 for most successful consecutive title defenses in UFC history.

In the co-main event, top-ranked UFC women’s strawweights Michelle Waterson and Rose Namajunas vie for an inch closer to a title shot.

Also, Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza who just renewed his contract with the UFC for an additional eight fights takes on the surging Robert Whittaker.
