Colby Covington faces Dillon Danis at RAF07
Real American Freestyle has announced a high-stakes co-main event for March 28th’s RAF07 event at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
Former UFC welterweight title contender Colby Covington will compete against well-known MMA competitor Dillon Danis in a cruiserweight bout at RAF07. Covington is 1-0 in his time at RAF, having beaten Luke Rockhold by tech-fall in his debut headlining RAF05. Danis will be making his RAF debut after a prominent MMA career that has seen him compete in the Bellator MMA circuit as well as Misfits, where he is the current light heavyweight champion.
In what is sure to be an exciting clash of styles, Covington’s standout wrestling background will be tested against Danis’s elite jiu-jitsu base.
The matchup cements RAF’s reputation as a league where the biggest names clash in never-before-seen bouts, allowing talents from across the combat sports landscape to compete on wrestling’s most prestigious stage. The event will stream live exclusively on Fox Nation.
