Asadula Imangazaliev Scores Second-Round Knockout Of Legendary Nong-O In Bangkok

Bangkok, Thailand: ONE Championship (ONE) capped off its weekend double-header at Lumpinee Stadium with an electrifying card at ONE Friday Fights 147: Nong-O vs. Imangazaliev.

Russian phenom Asadula Imangazaliev delivered a spectacular performance against legendary former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama in the evening’s main event.

Imangazaliev failed his pre-fight hydration tests and rendered himself ineligible to capture the divisional gold, but the surging Dagestani star still stepped into the ring to make a terrifying statement at the expense of a true Muay Thai icon.

In the first round, Imangazaliev immediately unleashed a dizzying array of unorthodox weapons, including a sharp axe kick that shook his opponent to the core. He utilized constant stance switches to completely disrupt the Thai legend’s rhythm.

To start the second stanza, the Russian dynamo aggressively pushed the pace, and Nong-O simply couldn’t get close enough to mount a meaningful attack. Imangazaliev capitalized on his advantage and detonated a thunderous left hook directly on Nong-O’s chin to leave the legendary Thai knocked out cold at the 0:44 mark.

After the fight, Imangazaliev called out former divisional king Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon for a ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title showdown.
