#ThrowbackThursday – Fighter dislocates shoulder, opponent pops it back in

Well here is something you don’t see every day.  During a recent mixed martial arts contest a fighter dislocates his shoulder while throwing a punch.

The bout took place in December at Mannheimer Hafenkeilerei 5 in Germany between Poland’s Arkadiusz Wroblewski and Georgia’s Paata Tschapelia. Watch as Wroblewski throws an overhand right but dislocates his left shoulder in the process.

Technically the fight should have been called off due to injury but it appears that even before the fighter is evaluated by a ringside physician, Wroblewski’s opponent comes over and offers to help.  Arkadiusz pops the shoulder back into place and the fight continues.
