Jamie Butcher Interview – Jack Hammer Promotion’s English Invasion 3 Media Day

Jamie Butcher is a second-time team member of Team USA. Butcher will be fighting Hayley Boot of Team England. These two ladies will be battling it out on Jack Hammer Promotion’s English Invasion 3 fight card. At Media Day, on March 18, Butcher spoke with My MMA News reporter, Kyle Carroll about her upcoming fight, where her sight is focused for the future, and how training is going since graduating college.

Butcher is a long lanky fighter for her weight class and does an excellent job of keeping her distance inside the ring. Butcher trains out of Port Jefferson’s Journey MMA, in addition to Commack MMA. This young lady speaks about how her training has geared up a notch since without having to travel quite as much since graduating.

This Team USA member explains how important it is to her that she connects with her community. Whether it is cleanups, 5k races or a community service project, Butcher tries to stay involved. She has been living the vegan lifestyle for a while now and Butcher swears by it, as she mentions in the interview how it allows weight cuts, recovering, and other facets of fighting to improve because her diet is top notch.

Fight fans can only expect fireworks in this bout between two highly skilled fighters. It is one that won’t leave anyone inside Mulcahey’s Pub on April 15, sitting in their seat.
