Happy Mardi Gras: Dustin Poirier smacks fan at parade for “Your wife’s in me DM’s” sign
Mardi Gras is a wild time in South Louisiana. There are parades, alcohol, and boobs. Things can be incredibly fun or get very out of control. Today during the festivities, former UFC interim champion Dustin Poirier had to show a fan the F**k Around:Find Out ratio. The guy had a sign at a parade that Poirier was riding in that said, “Your wife’s in me DM’s.”
HARDOOOOOOO @DustinPoirier should’ve slept him

Dustin Poirier not putting up with your jokes
After winning the second and third matches with Conor McGregor, Poirier is not putting up with any of the disrespect from fight fans around any of the things McGregor said leading up to their third fight. He managed to knock McGregor out in their second fight and McGregor broke his leg in the third that followed a slurry of insults hurled as Poirier in an adrenaline fueled rage.
Since then, Dustin Poirier isn’t putting up anything from the fans dealing with McGregor’s outburst and insults. He right fully won the trilogy and McGregor fans still come at him with insanity online daily. In front of his family, Dustin Poirier will not put up with any of that and showed that today.
MMA Twitter sounded off both supporting and condemning Poirier.
People are getting way too comfortable being disrespectful.
Good shit slapping him @DustinPoirier https://t.co/O5NMcZojE8— Adrian Yañez (@yanezmma) February 21, 2023
As Adrian Yanez said above, fans are too bold these days and are starting to disrespect not just fighters but athletes across all sports. Poirier clapping back sends a clear message to all the McGregor stans out there that he will not tolerate any disrespect of his family, something he’s always preached.
What do you think about Dustin Poirier’s actions against this fan at a Mardi Gras parade? Being from South Louisiana, I can say this is probably the most Louisiana thing ever. I will also offer the opinion that Poirier battered McGregor in that third fight prior to the leg break and it’s time to leave that in the past.
