Cage Warriors 113 Adds Samir Faiddine vs. Luke Shanks Main Event

Cage Warriors 113 has found it’s main event. Flyweight champion, Shamir Faiddine, will defend his title against Luke Shanks. The fight takes place on March 20th in London, UK.

Faiddine won his belt at CW106 when he knocked out Sam Creasey in the third round. The Frenchman has a record of 11-6 and is riding two wins coming into his first title defense.

The challenger, Luke Shanks is the home town kid, hailing from Northamptonshire. He is 6-1 coming into Cage Warriors 113. Shanks has fought twice in Cage Warriors, BAMMA, and ACB. Winning the title in Cage Warriors would be a huge boon for 24 year old.

A win for either of these guys on such a big card will be a giant boost in their respective careers. The momentum from the fight could put them over the top in their careers!

Building Cage Warriors 113

Cage Warriors 113 is approaching rapidly and is starting to take shape. In addition to Faiddine-Shanks, Cage Warriors announced fan favorite Paddy Pimblett’s next fight. He takes on Donovan Desmae. Along with those, Ian Garry, Sam Creasy, and Mason Jones are confirmed to fight on the card.

“This is one of those cards that everyone on the roster wants a part of,” said Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan.

“My phone has been blowing up with guys calling up asking for a spot on March 20th. When people look back on our biggest London shows of all time, this one will be part of the conversation, no question.”
