Danny Sabatello Will Always “Hate Raufeon Stots”

Danny Sabatello and Raufeon Stots collide in a bad blood-filled rematch at Bellator 301.

The fistic fireworks transpire at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois on November 17th. The initial Sabatello-Stots affair saw the latter emerge victorious via a split decision at Bellator 289 last December.

I spoke to Sabatello in the days leading up to this exciting sequel with Stots. The excerpt of our Bellator 301 media day interaction can be found below.

A question for Danny, I was noticing before the first fight with Raufeon (Stots), you had an Instagram post. I’m censoring it a little bit, there was an expletive in there, but you said this ends tomorrow. Do you feel like this will definitively end on Friday?

“Honestly, it would be nice for this s*** to end because he’s very below me and I don’t really want to give him the f****** press to make his name any bigger. But I don’t think this will ever end. This doesn’t have a happy ending. I think no matter what, I’m always gonna f****** hate Raufeon Stots. I don’t care if he hates me or not, he’s irrelevant. Again, even after this fight after I do beat the s*** out of him, I don’t know if he’s going to retire or not but I’m always gonna want to fight him.”

“I’ll fight him again in two weeks, I’ll fight him again in three weeks, I’ll fight him again in four weeks. As our career goes on, if it were up to me every single f****** fight would be against this little f****** b****. But unfortunately, it won’t go that way. But no, I don’t think it ends Friday even though it would be nice. It would be a nice little staple to say sayonara, goodbye, never see you again. But I’ll always fantasize about putting my f****** elbow through his skull.”
