Music Fighters Train To
“I like a lot of music. I listen a lot to old classic rocks and also blues too. I’m a big fan of Buddy Guy, people like him… When I have my quiet moments or want to calm down a little bit and de-stress at the end of the day, I like to listen to classical music; Mozart, Beethoven. But at the same time, I enjoy Pink Floyd a lot. David Gilmour the guitarist of Pink Floyd is amazing. When we train at the gym, my favorite music is the Dutch House. A lot of the DJs in techno-house music are Dutch…I kind of go back to my roots and I combine the Dutch DJs with the Duch Kickboxing, I guess….I still like to go back to that upbeat (sound) and bring that energy into the training room.”
“Right now I’m listening to Brian Fallon’s new CD. He was the singer from Gaslight Anthem. That’s what I’m listening to right now. I listen to a lot of Tallest Man on Earth, Passenger. Like more mellow stuff now. I don’t know if it’s really a genre thing. Those are my top artists right now, for sure. I like a quiet song usually with lyrics, good lyrics.”
