Joanna Jedrzejczyk wants Colby Covington kicked out of American Top Team

Former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has had enough of her gym teammate Colby Covington and now she wants him removed from the gym. Covington’s brash personality and antics have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, which has recently led ATT to make a no trash-talk policy inside the gym.

Despite the new policy, Jedrzejczyk wants nothing to do with Covington inside the gym and feels he should be removed from the team. During an interview with Ariel Helwani of ESPN, Jedrzejczyk gave her reasoning for wanting Covington off the team.

“No, no, no. I don’t want to talk about Colby Covington because he’s such a liar and he wants this exposure, he needs this attention because he has nothing to offer to the world. He’s a great athlete, such a hard-worker but I know that isn’t him, someone is writing this for him and I know who that is. I feel sorry for him that he needs to jump on me, Jorge, Dustin Poirier. We are such hard workers, very talented people, real warriors and he’s trying to get advantage of us. He’s such a liar. I think Dan Lambert should kick him out. Of course, he’s like putting this place in shame. For me, the gym is like a mecca.”

Last week Covington offered up an apology to Dustin Poirier after the two engaged in some trash talk as Covington attempted to get a fight with Tyron Woodley as the two have a long-standing feud. It was after the apology that news hit about the no trash-talk policy now in place at the gym. Even after apologizing to Poirier, Covington didn’t hold back and took aim at both  Jedrzejczyk and his former friend Jorge Masvidal.

Although the new policy is put in place, it doesn’t seem as the beef between Covington and a few of his teammates like Joanna Jedrzejczyk will be coming to an end anytime soon.
