Kimbo Slice, 42, passes away – June 6, 2016
The mixed martial arts, boxing, and bare knuckle boxing is saddened to learn of the unfortunate passing of Kevin Ferguson, AKA Kimbo Slice.
Slice, just 42-years old, passed away today, June 6, 2016 and the apparent but unconfirmed cause is heart failure.
Earlier today the fighter was admitted to a hospital in southern Florida as per reported by TMZ and was according to police reports he was in “grave condition.”
We are now learning that Slice has passed. He last fought in February against Dhafir Harris, AKA Dada 5000 and had a scheduled rematch against James Thompson in England.
Slice recently paid a $2500 in Texas and had to give up his license for fighting in the state after testing positive for a banned substance in the Harris fight.
The news of Ferguson’s passing today is tragic and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
