MMA fighter finds alligator at front door – VIDEO
Mike Trinh, a former professional mixed martial artist, and a native of Texas, had quite the surprise on Monday, an alligator at the front door.
As his daughter was headed out the door to school, she noticed the reptile and went back to warn her father, who obviously did not believe her at first.
Trinh, of Missouri City, is the owner Mike’s Seafood and documented the incident on his Facebook page.
“What a morning,” Trinh wrote. “It’s my youngest daughters first day in middle school. As she’s about to go to the car, she runs back saying there’s an alligator at the front door. I’m thinking she’s playing “stop it, you’re going to school”. So I walked outside and there it is. A fkn gator at my front door. All my years watching Steve Irwin, I figured I can deal with any wildlife as long as it ain’t a stingray. Anyways, I threw a towel to calm it calm so I can take the kids to school. Once I came back, I secure the towels, pin it’s head, knee on its head, mount on its back for 4 points, and held its jaw shut. I had my daughter helped me tie up the mouth. Then I tied its legs. I called Fort Bend, they passed me on to Mo City, which got me to TPWD. But they won’t open till 8. Finally, when they did answer, they passed me on to a local game warden. It seems like nobody wants to deal with this fker. I swear, if nobody comes to pick it up, I’m gonna fry up this btch. Anyways thanks to my friend @mavcws_1 for directing me all morning to the proper departments. By the way, Mike’s Seafood have some awesome alligator bites on our menu. Try it with our Mike’s Sauce.”
Trinh said he called Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office who then directed him to the Missouri City Police Department, who Trinh said then directed him to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
After being told that he would have to pay for the alligator to be removed, Trinh took matters into his own hands.
“I pinned his mouth closed with a sledgehammer and got onto his back,” Trinh said. “I asked my daughter to get duct tape and she started taping his mouth shut. I finished taping up his mouth and then taped his legs together.”
Trinh, who lost fought in 2016, has a pro MMA record of 5-3.
