Speaking of waiting for the most reliable machine to be free, we can all agree that waiting for your equipment to be available is one of the most annoying parts of going to the gym. Of course, this doesn’t apply to all equipment but if you’re looking to buy gym equipment, make sure that you’re going to use it regularly if you want them to be cost-effective.

If you’re a very social person and want to socialize and make friends with the other people in the gym to work out, then owning a home gym might not be for you. Sure, you’re not in the gym to make friends, but having a group that you can talk with and exchange tips can be helpful if you want some help.

Not only that, lifting would be great since you’ll mostly have someone to spot you. But, again, people sometimes look for a sense of community when going to a gym, and working out in your home gym doesn’t have that.
