Loughnane (20-3), was the standout performer in teh first round in the PFL season; knocking out former UFC veteran Sheymon Moraes. The Manchester born, kicked of his playoffs hope in the most spectacular fashion earning a first round knockout and being the only competitor to earn six points that night which catapulted himself to the top spot in the featherweight standings, now he will face Tyler Diamond next at PFL 4 on June 10 at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, N.J.

Diamond (12-1), also performed at PFL 1 earning a unanimous decision victory over Sung Bin Jo. The pair went to war and put it all on the line, with the American getting the nod.

The 31-year-old brit is a firm beliver that England’s national football team has a good chance at the upcoming UEFA European Football Championship:

“We’ve got a great young side. I’m very hopeful of getting the trophy if I’m honest.”

Although the Brit loves his fighting, Looughnane was gutted he wasn’t at home to watch the tournament.

“Its good to be home when stuff like that is going on, to be honest.”

Does Brendan Loughnane have enjoyment watching Lance Palmer lose?

“I couldn’t care less about any of these guys to be honest…like i couldn’t give a sh*t.”

Brendan Loughanne is predicting a “rough” night for Tyler.

“I’m going to come out exactly how i did against Moraes,,,fast, sharp, accurate, stinging shots and hell get desperate for the takedown and that’ll be all she wrote.”

Is it important for Loughnane to finish top of the standings?

“That don’t matter…at the end of the day four people will go through, so as long as i get through thats all what matters.”

In the last few months the brit has been hanging around with his long time friend and former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz.

“Me and Dom go back eight years now…I’ve been going back forth with Alliance. Me and Dom know each other very well…he’s took some of my stuff and I’ve took some of his stuff, now its all come to fruition.”
