Conor McGregor arrested in Ireland on Tuesday

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is in trouble with the law once again.  Per a report from the Irish Independent, “Mystic Mac” was arrested for dangerous driving Tuesday in west Dublin, Ireland.

McGregor was traveling along the N4 between Lucan and Palmerstown when he was pulled over by gardai (police) and charged with “dangerous driving.” He will appear before Blanchardstown district court next month. The former champion’s Bentley Continental GT which is estimated at $187,0000, was briefly seized by police before it was returned.

Due to privacy laws, McGregor’s name was not released.

A spokesman told the Irish Independent: “Gardaí arrested a man aged in his 30s in relation an incident of dangerous driving in the Palmerstown area yesterday evening, Tuesday 22nd March 2022.

“The man was taken to Lucan Garda Station where he was later charged. He has been released pending an appearance before Blanchardstown District Court at a later date.”

If convicted, McGregor could face a fine equating to $5,502, up to six months in prison, or both.
