Conor McGregor’s manager issues statement following bus attack
Audie A. Attar, manager of UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, has issued a statement following McGregor’s attack on a bus full of UFC 223 competitors in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday.
“So much rumor and misinformation about my client, Conor McGregor. The matter is in the hands of law enforcement, and I cannot really say more. Conor is a great father, a fiercely loyal friend, and one of the best athletes in the world. He looks forward to getting back to fighting as soon as possible.”

McGregor had a hearing Friday afternoon at the Kings County Criminal Court. The judge issued an order of protection in favor of Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg, two fighters injured in the incident as well as Ozzy Arias and Ricardo Chico. The judge also set a $50,000 bail and a $25,000 bail on his friend, Cian Cowley who was also involved. The bail was posted and both McGregor and Cowley were freed shortly after.
McGregor’s next hearing is set for June 14.
