Jakub Kaszuba starts journey towards another PFL Europe title

Jakub Kaszuba had a great 2023 as he was the best lightweight in PFL Europe.

Last year, Kaszuba posted victories over Maxim Radu, Dylan Tuke and John Mitchell to be crowned the PFL Europe lightweight champion and in addition to a nice shiny championship belt, Kaszuba was also given a 100-thousand-dollar check.

The title victory was sweet for Kaszuba as he came back to the United States and enjoyed the holidays with his wife and family in Florida, but he didn’t have too long to savior the wins.

After the new year, Kaszuba got a message from Dan Hardy and that simply said, “March 7.”

Kaszuba wasn’t sure if that was a question or an order, but he quickly found out that it was a done deal as the PFL Europe tournament will be starting back up and that he’d be fighting in Paris on March 7.

After three fights in Europe last year, Kaszuba knows how to handle the long flights, the weight cuts and all that fight week as to offer, so all of that isn’t too much of a concern for him and he even admits that he’s not really feeling any pressure coming into the fight.

Instead, Kaszuba has one thing on his mind and that’s making sure his opponent Kane Mousah will want to retire following the fight.

The confident Kaszuba once again spoke with MyMMANews and this time discussed his quick turnaround, working with his wife and once again fighting in Paris.

You can watch his full interview in the video above.
