Kay Hansen says “I don’t have to get another job working a 9-to-5” because of OnlyFans
Former UFC fighter Kay Hansen (7-6) is currently rehabbing an injured right hand but has plans to return to her roots at Invicta Fighting Championship later this year.
The now 23-year-old Hansen, who fights out of Fullerton, California, first appeared on the UFC scene in June 2020 with a submission victory over Jinh Yu Frey. Since then, Hansen dropped three straight bouts before her UFC release.
Hansen fought nine times for Invicta FC prior to her UFC signing.
Over the course of her recent inactivity from the sport, (not having fought since April), Hansen has really ramped up her social media postings to include Instagram and the subscription-based OnlyFans platforms.
While some may object to the type of material that Hansen is posting, she sees no issue with it as she continues to see profits increase.
“I feel like a lot of people knock it, and I understand everyone has their opinion, but at the end of the day, it allows me to make the training schedule I want,” Hansen told MMA Junkie reporter Mike Bohn on the World MMA Awards red carpet. “I don’t have to get another job working a 9-to-5, you know what I mean? So it allows me to structure my camps and focus on what really matters, and that’s fighting.”
Hansen expects her injury to take another 8-12 weeks to heal and hopes she can return in the first quarter of 2023.
