Marcus Hardiman not in the cage to lose, hopes to continue solid start after 2 wins

Marcus Hardiman ready for AOW 14

Art of War Cage Fighting will make their first appearance at the Lebanon, PA Expo Center on Saturday night, November 23rd.  AOW President Mike Bickings has consistently held sold-out events, loaded with some of the best, young, regional talent on the east coast.

The fight card at AOW 14 is looking to be very interesting and MyMMANews will be cageside with full event coverage as well as  publishing several pre-fight interviews/profiles.  Please check out our interview with Marcus Hardiman in the link above.

Marcus has that life-long wrestling background and is making the transition to mixed martial arts.  He has gotten off to a 2-0 start and will battle Craig Myles to try and remain undefeated early in his career.  I was cageside on commentary for both of Marcus’s fights.  He seemed to be more comfortable in the stand-up in his second fight.  He also showed some toughness as he also ate a few combinations and still never stopped.  Hardiman talks about his young career and what he has learned after just two contests.  We also get into his camp and his opponent.  He tells us…

“It’s hard to study film when there is just not much out there being so early in our careers but as my career progresses, I will definitely watch more.  It’s just a part of improving, evolving and working hard to be the best you can be even before you step into the cage.”

Marcus brings lots of cardio and the wrestling, we sill see if the maturation of the rest of his skills continues.

Stay right here at MyMMANews for the best combat sports coverage available.

'Beautiful' Bob Meloni
Commentator for Art of War Cagefighting. More than 15 years experience in the PA/NJ regional MMA circuit. Commentator/post fight interviews. Television/media/event production.  USKA Fight Sports media and production. The story of the fighter is what Bob loves about the sport. From the lowest level, to the highest, he only cares about the two warriors who do battle once the cage doors close. Everything else is secondary. Without their blood, sweat, and tears, he would not be here enjoying every minute.
