UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich quits on stool, Mike Jackson awarded victory in grudge match

UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich, 55, came out of retirement on Saturday night to fight fellow former UFC fighter Mike Jackson, 38, in a grudge match.

The Caged Aggression 36 headlining bout in Davenport, Iowa, was the culmination of an online battle that stemmed from a difference in political views.

Competing for the first time in more than three years, Miletich was dominant for two rounds against Jackson, but ultimately father-time, namely cardio, kicked in.

After not being able to answer the bell for the third round, “The Croatian Sensation” would take a loss and “The Truth” Jackson prevailed.  Miletich was allegedly up 20-17 on judges’ scorecards before throwing in the towel.

Jackson wrote on Instagram, “Came to enemy territory and got the W against an MMA pioneer and legend. Left him on the stool. #TruthvsMiletich”

Jackson walks away with his first win since a disqualification against Dean Barry at UFC Fight Night 205 last April.

Miletich won his prior MMA outing in 2008 against Thomas Denny but lost a kickboxing bout by split decision against Michael Nunn in 2020.
