Wes Schultz

Wes Schultz looks to secure a UFC contract on DWCS and aims to be a mainstay on the roster

Interview with Wes Schultz below

Wes Schultz (6-1) discusses his middleweight fight against Mansur Abdul-Malik (5-0) at DWCS on Aug. 13. Wes also spoke about working as a bartender on the side, how he sees the fight playing out and why his ultimate goal is to be a UFC mainstay if he can secure a contract.

“Ideally I’d be able to get my feet wet and build a resume (if I got the UFC contract). I don’t need to hurry things. I just want to get into the UFC and be a consistent face. I see a lot of guys work real hard, get into the UFC and then they go 0-2 and they’re out. I want to get in and start winning fights then be a staple in the division.”
