The Greater Boys and Girls Club of Bear, Delaware is set to host one of the most exciting and highly anticipated kickboxing events in Delaware this year. Gut Check Championship Series is scheduled to take place on May 20, 2023, and promises to be a spectacular display of Glory rules kickboxing and Muay Thai with an absolutely stacked card.

Some of the most notable names in kickboxing around the surrounding area will take the stage and put it all on the line. With titles on the line, mixed with a few grudge matches, Gut Check Championship Series is set for an intense, action-packed night of fights that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Following a decade long hiatus, Greg “The Hitman” Pritchett III returns to the ring to test his skills against the always crafty, and dangerous, “Hurricane” Gene Kim, whom will also be making a return to the ring after a year layoff.

Both fighters are true students of the game and have the utmost respect for martial arts and each other.

“He’s (Gene) probably one of the most respectful opponents I’ve ever had,” Pritchett says about his upcoming opponent. “I know he’s got less experience than me, I don’t want to underestimate him, of course. I don’t think he’s a slouch at all! He puts in the work,” Pritchett expands.

While Pritchett’s opponent, Kim stated on record with MyMMANews that he feels that he needs to secure a stoppage in this bout, Pritchett is only focused on one thing.  He “just want to do as best as I can,” he calmly and bluntly says. “I just love martial arts,” he affirms.

A notion that is completely understandable. After all, he’s “been around the culture since I was a child,” he earnestly says.

Don’t miss out on this incredible event. Get your tickets now and be a part of the Gut Check Championship Series. It’s going to be a night to remember!

Tune in above as Greg Pritchett joins MyMMANews to discuss his highly anticipated return to the ring. He discusses how he occupied his time when he wasn’t fighting, growing up and buying his first home, how he feels the fight will play out and so much more!
