LFA 99: Flore Hani talks about fight with Valerie Soto

Legacy Fighting Alliance returns with LFA 99: Dennis vs. Cherant, where Flore Hani looks to make a dominant debut. Facing her is fellow strawweight, Valerie Marie. The card will air live on UFC Fight Pass and take place inside the Hartman Arena in Park City Kansas.

Flore Hani vs. Valerie Soto – Breakdown

Hani (2-1) has an orthodox stance and opens with a high-pace. Since she implements feints early, she often catches opponents off rhythm in striking exchanges. The French-Polynesian athlete also has a quick left-high kick that finds its mark sneakily to establish range. As the fight breathes, she tends to let her hands go. Following a litany of fight cancellations, she’s eager to put her skills to use. LFA 99 will highlight the two strawweight prospects, and given that Hani has had three-fight camps in a row she is ready to enjoy the fruits of her labor. However, Soto is downright dangerous on the feet.

Soto has shown definite power in her hands. Specifically, the 22-year old athlete finished Miki Rogers at Atlas Fights 36. Despite the fight being in 2019, certainly it gives credence to her danger inside the cage. While Hani’s conditioning is a concern, Soto has had the luxury of fighting a few more times than Hani. Starting fast on the feet is complemented by experience so the bout is not to be missed.

Hani Talks Big LFA Debut and Representing French Polynesia

Following the fight announcement, MyMMANews.com staff got the chance to catch up with Hani and speak about her camp. Since dealing with so many fight cancellations, she feels she is more than ready to capitalize on this opportunity and underlined that by saying,

“2020 was a complete fail for me. It was hard to see myself go through 3 fight cancelations but I really expect 2021 to be different. For the moment my goal is to fight as much as I can because I really missed it a lot. ”

Additionally, she spoke about finally getting a chance to represent and be the first French-Polynesian to fight in LFA, saying:

“I’m really proud to be the first fighter representing French Polynesia and France to step in the LFA cage. I’m glad to bring a new crowd for the audience and to be able to show my hard work and progression.”

Overall, Hani expressed that she is ready to handle business. It should be noted that both athletes present a unique challenge for the other. Although Hani admitted that her technique might be a level above her opponent. At least at LFA 99: Dennis vs. Cherant, fans will get answers to all their questions surrounding this strawweight banger.
