Lucas Clay (9-3) discusses his welterweight fight against Cody Carrillo (16-22) at Shamrock FC 351 this Saturday. Lucas also spoke his cross training for this fight, how he ended up fighting for Shamrock FC and how a UFC call could be next with a win.
“I got to get past Cody; I think that it will be my next call (going to the UFC). Most people forget with the recent debacle with ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ that I was involved with. Dana White did promise, it’s on camera, he promised that he wasn’t going to let us guys who got sent home … he said they would look out for us. But I am coming off a loss, to make it fair I have to be earning of my shot.”
