Johnny Walker talks upcoming fight at UFC 279, SBG Ireland and planning a wedding
Johnny Walker is ready to turn things around in his career and he’s planning on doing that at UFC 279.
Recently, Walker has been on the losing end of four of his last five, but Walker truly believes those are in all in the past.
A big reason for Walker’s confidence comes from his training as he believes he’s finally coming into his own due his great team of coaches.
In 2020, Walker made the decision to move to Ireland and train at SBG Ireland under world renowned coaches John Kavanagh and Owen Roddy, who famously led Conor McGregor through his massive run in the UFC.
Now that Walker has had the chance to train under his new coaches for a few years, he feels like things are starting to click and that now is the time to go on a run in the light heavyweight division.
Not only are things going great for Walker in his professional life, but he has never been happier in his personal life as he is getting married in December.
Prior to UFC 279, Walker spoke with MyMMANews about his matchup with Ion Cutelaba, his training at SBG Ireland and planning a wedding during training camp.
